calm thyself pads listen closely to use the emotiocon you just go down to the little button that below the list to the right of your comment box that says emoticans. click on that. it will open a window that displays all the smileys use by dA to use one you just take the symbol that represent it and place it in between : : two of these example: to display this emoticon :meditation: just type a : then the word meditation with no space inbetween then another : with no space. its that simple give it a try real quick type in these symbols : then - then ) and you get :-)
